MINISTRY MISSION STATEMENT :

To be led by the mission and ministry of Jesus Christ and the Spirit of God to sustain the mission and teachings of Great Commission  Baptist Church, to adhere to the principles of its mission statement and to serve God and others as we grow and mature spiritually.

MINISTRY DESCRIPTION :

Older members who are reaching out to help our Pastor and members while also reaching out to the community. We support our Pastor through our Hope Fund. We think of different ways in which we can help and be a blessing to him. We link with youth through two activities – “Cooking with the Youth and “Adopt A High School Senior”.  Many of our members also support and volunteer in the “Good News Club” at a local elementary school. We provide materials and information that benefit our senior citizens. March is considered Seasoned Saints Month in which we have an Annual Fellowship Reception and our Annual Day is held on the 3rd Sunday.
