National Day of Prayer

The National Day of Prayer will be held on Thursday, May 1st from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. here at GCBC. The Prayer Ministry is collaborating with other local Churches, Political Officials, and various Community Leaders.

The New Member’s Orientation class has been rescheduled until May 3rd from
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. If you are a member 10 years of age or older and have not attended this class to receive the right hand of fellowship from Dr. Brown now is the time. You may sign up each Sunday in the Foyer after morning worship service through April 27th.

We love gathering together as a family and we hope that you’ll join us. In Our two services, English and Español you can expect to hear inspiring music as well as an engaging message that is Biblically Inspiring, Practical and Challenging. Some will come dressed up others casual so feel free to wear whatever is comfortable for you.

Let us come and worship with joy and thanksgiving for the man chosen by God to be our shepherd.

Join us in the month of May, as we celebrate our dynamic, powerful, and anointed Pastor, Dr. Douglas E. Brown and his beautiful wife, First Lady, Dr. LaKedra Brown.

This year marks 32 years that Great Commission Baptist Church has been blessed with Dr. Brown’s Christian teaching, discipleship, and pastoral leadership.

Also, this year, on Saturday, May 17th, marks 62 years that Dr. Douglas Brown has lived a life with kindness, compassion, and generosity.

Each Sunday throughout the Month of May, there will be Gift Boxes located at each Exit Door in the Sanctuary to celebrate both events. If you would like to bless our Pastor and First Lady with Words of Encouragement, Gift Cards, Birthday Cards, or whatever God has laid on your heart, you may place your gift in the Gift Boxes. Math and Reading Club

Bible Study will start Wednesday, February 5th at 7:00 p.m. in person. 1st Wednesday in person and on the 3rd & 4th Wednesday nights, it will be Streamed Online.

Ladies of GCBC, The Women’s Ministry, FLAC and PAC cordially invite you to “Sipping Tea with Lady Lakedra” on Wednesday, May 14th. We will kick off the event with a table tour/meet and greet at 6:40 p.m. and the program will begin at 7:00 p.m. The cost for the event is $20 per person. Sign up will be available after morning worship service in the foyer through May 4th, for those who plan to attend as well as for those who would like to decorate a table. Seating will be limited so please purchase your tickets as soon as possible. The dress attire will be cute,

casual and wear your Fascinator’s!
